Falls Church, Virginia is a unique, independent city in Northern Virginia, located not far from Washington, DC. With a population of about 10,000 residents living in just 2.2 square miles, Falls Church has a small-town feel tucked within a major metropolitan area. The City of Falls Church is going through a number of changes as the “downtown” area is being rebuilt.

This site was created by Brian Williams, a resident and business owner in the City of Falls Church, as a place to record, reflect, and share news and information about the people, places, events, and businesses that make Falls Church such a great place to be. Outside of a brief stint in Boulder, Colorado, Brian has lived near Falls Church since 1998. A new city resident in 2008, he decided to blog about living and working in the City of Falls Church. He’s meeting new people, learning the history, and sharing his experiences along the way.
