The City of Falls Church Recreation & Parks Division is sponsoring its 16th Annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave.) from 10 am to 3 pm. Enjoy a day of old-fashioned family fun including hayrides, pony rides, a petting farm, scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, beekeeping, blacksmithing, live music and more. Free tours of the 1845 Cherry Hill Farmhouse and Barn are also available. Admission is free, however nominal fees apply to some activities.

I haven’t been in past years, but I hope to take the kids up these this weekend to check it out.
