The Falls Church Insider All About the City of Falls Church, Virginia, For & By The Folks Who Live & Work There

Other than a brief stint in Boulder, Colorado (another town/community that I really love) I’ve lived near Washington, DC all my life.  For all those years whenever I heard or said “The City” it was always in reference to DC.

Well, no more.

I’ve joked about it on twitter, but I’m happy to say that I now commonly refer to Falls Church City as just “The City.”  Maybe it’s because I’m hanging out with more city folks who have done the same for decades, or maybe it’s because it’s starting to feel odd when I venture outside the city limits.  Either way, it’s another step of my acclimation into Falls Church City living that I thought I’d share.
